Iconic British label Warp seem to be on a bit of a roll these last few days as the good news just keeps on coming from the imprint. Days after we confirmed the release of Bibio’s 7th studio album was to be released by the imprint in the coming months we can now reveal that post dubstep favorite Mount Kimbie also has a new LP on the way with Warp alongside an extensive set of tour dates in late spring and the summer.
Perfromances have been scheduled for the Ray-Ban x SXSW Warehouse Broadcast party on March 16th –adding to an already stellar roster of names such as of Chief Keef, Death Grips, Lunice and Baauer before making his way around Europe with appearances in May at Sound City, the Lisbon and Berlin legs of the xx curated Night & Day, Imagine, London Calling and Field Day and then onto full North American and European tour dates in the summer, including a headline show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom and a soon to be announced headline show in London. All this and news that they’ll be joined on the North American dates by Manchester favorite and generally very cool act Holy Other. Busy time ahead for the boys of Mount Kimbie!
