We Are FSTVL is a brand new 15,000 capacity dance festival launching in 2013 which promises to bring together the biggest names in electronic dance music alongside some of the world’s leading club brands and labels in a remarkable setting. Taking place on Saturday 25th May 2013 a stone’s throw from London in Upminster, Essex, the inaugural festival will play host to over 70 acts across 10 stages and arenas over one day from 11am – 2.30am.
Among the first confirmed arena hosts are Cocoon Heroes – who are bringing out heavyweights including Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos in the first time they’ll play alongside one another in the South East in 5 years.
Pioneers of throwing parties in unusual underground locations, Mulletover will be hosting their first ever rave in a crop circle alongside forward thinking collective Crèche, fellow Sunday cohorts Secret Sundaze and deep house and minimal tech Ibiza night Kehakuma, who will be bringing a touch of Japan from Space in Ibiza to the UK, playing in The Japanese Garden. Elsewhere the hard partying Crosstown Rebels crew will be descending en masse with their Get Lost arena.
Founded by Nikki Gordon, formerly from the team behind the TDK Cross Central, The Cross, The Key and the recent Luciano Cadenza Vagabundos show which took place earlier this year, We Are FSTVL will be placing a huge emphasis on production to create an unrivalled festival experience, never before applied to the UK dance festival market. Taking place over a sprawling 122 acre former WW1 airfield in Upminster just 20 minutes from Central London by train, custom built structures will give each arena its own distinctive identity to create a series of parallel worlds. Expect to see an arena made entirely out of shipping containers, a 2,000 capacity beach arena inspired by a tiki paradise and a secret crop circle rave, each with its own set of LED video walls, state of the art lasers and Funktion One Sound systems.
All this and much more TBA for a highly competitive ticket price!
Stay tuned for many more artists and partners still to be announced.
