After wowing crowds at sold out galleries in both London and New York seminal German electronic outfit Kraftwerk are to bring a specially curated version of their acclaimed 3D 4 decade retrospective to Helsinki’s Flow Festival. Joining the old masters will be rising talent and DT favorites Discolsure, Tensnake and Maya Jane Coles for an interesting juxtaposition of electronic sounds. Further support comes from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, elusive Swedish duo The Knife and fellow swedes and Rough Trade selection Goat. With more to be announced it looks the Finnish festival may be an astute and different choice for festival goers looking for something slightly more left field. Held in a century old disused power station a short walk from central Helsinki the location for this art hub couldn’t be more suited to the cool Scandanavian art set. Exciting news. Exciting news indeed.
