What is it with South London and producing fresh talent these days? This week our podcast comes comes from underground producer and DJ Last Japan. Setting himself apart from the mountain of other producers with his genre blurring amalgamation of 2 step, grime and funky house the acclaimed “Shards of textures and sounds” all within in his palette often make it hard for us to catergorize his work as anything other that cool.

Making his names on some of the  most hip independent labels such as Bullet Train, LNUK and Signal Life it wasn’t long before the multi instrumentalist was garnering some major attention from some of the industry’s biggest names with heavy support from BBC 1Xtra, Rinse FM and the likes of Toddla T and Jackmaster.   So with his star continuing to rise, after collaborations with Roses Gabor and Little Jinder, and an extensive touring schedule across Europe we’re pleased to share with you this weeks excellent podcast to give you the chance to catch some of Last Japan musical dexterity for yourself.
